Equity is Our Birth Right!

You deserve to have equity because it is humane. Acquiring the proper resources, seeking guidance from reputable individuals and building a life for yourself is essential and does not require for you to earn your freedom. Capital equity, home equity or even menstrual equity...we deserve it. Now, let's go get it!

There is so much going in int he United States regarding capitalism, police brutality, legislatures, overwhelming poverty rates and not the demise of the U.S. dollar. As entrepreneurs, we must think past the currency that once dominated worldwide and how you can build strategic partnerships and operations globally. Sustainable development goals are key to developing a viable organization as it will be beneficial to align with processes that have been universally agreed to and not just on a national level. As currency transitions, this can cause an influx of inflation which you will need to be prepared to sustain economically.

"The first panacea for a mismanaged nation is inflation of the currency; the second is war. Both bring a temporary prosperity; both bring a permanent ruin. But both are the refuge of political and economic opportunists." - Ernest Hemingway

"Amplify Black Lit" Book Club

There was a time where it was illegal for Black enslaved people to read and write. Education was prohibited because knowledge is power. And without knowledge, we are able to remain shackled even in present day. Have you been looking for a community in Las Vegas (or virtually) that loves to read and discuss Black literature as much as you do? Look no further! Analog Dope is excited to collaborate with New Nation Goddess to form a new book club, Amplify Black Literature!.

Each month we will highlight a different theme and a corresponding book by a Black author. Book club meetings will be held once a month in person at The Analog Dope Store and virtually.

Book club members will also enjoy membership perks and rewards from Analog Dope! Once you have signed up, you will receive a welcome letter with your personalized discount code for future purchases.

In honor of National Poetry Month in April, we will be reading "Homegirls and Handgrenades" by Sonia Sanchez. Published on 3/21/2023, this book is 112 pages and a winner of the American Book Award. A classic of the Black Arts Movement brought back to life in a refreshed edition. "A lion in literature's forest. When she writes she roars, and when she sleeps other creatures walk gingerly."- Maya Angelou. Originally published in 1984, this collection of prose, prose poems, and lyric verses is as fresh and radical today as it was then. Sonia Sanchez, the premiere poet of the Black Arts Movement, shows the "razor blades" in clenched in her teeth in these powerful pieces.

You can order here: https://www.theanalogdopestore.com/product/homegirls-handgrenades/1387

We will meet the last Saturday of next month on April 29, 2023 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm PST. For those of you who are logging on virtually, we will email you the link 1 week before we meet. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

¿Con o sin alcohol?

April is also Alcohol Awareness Month! Many of you may not be aware however we are a recovering alcoholic (sober 3 years as of 6/27/23). Our intentions are to never make you feel less than for drinking as alcohol is prevalent in our society. We would like to recommend some tips and provide some information that may be beneficial for you or your loved ones.

  1. Why do you feel the need to drink alcohol?

  2. Are you aware of the illnesses and diseases that are a result from drinking alcohol?

  3. How often do you drink?

  4. Did you notice how much of your annual budget goes towards alcohol spending?

  5. Do you drink when you are sad? Mad? Frustrated? Stressed? If so, does your problem go away? Or does your feelings change towards the situation once you are sober?

  6. Try going without alcohol for 30 days and notice the change it makes with your health and your bank account.

  7. Be mindful of not peer pressuring or making fun of your loved ones who do not want to drink.

  8. You can still have plenty of fun and pleasure without alcohol.

Kick Cramp's Ass is BIGGER than Just a Book

As much as we have enjoyed writing, educating and promoting the fundamentals of our book, "Kick Cramp's Ass," it is time that we expand to something even greater. We are now an official organization and will be advocating for menstrual equity, period poverty and womb wellness for those individuals who menstruate. What does this mean?! More events, products, services and awareness being spread globally.

After eliminating dysmenorrhea, menorrhagia and ovarian cystitis, we found a formula that will aid in decreasing menstrual cramp pains and PMS symptoms. Be sure to keep up with us to be in the know of the latest news, events and resources.

You can subscribe to our website at www.kickcrampsass.org and follow us on Instagram at www.instragram.com/kickcrampsass .
